The Less Talk More Action podcast, as the name implies, is is not a talkfest of a podcast, but rather an action-oriented podcast.

So I’m looking to interview coaches, consultants and trainers who are focused on their clients taking ACTION (not into simply giving advice).

The podcast has two parts:

PART 1: Quickfire questions (to get to know you)

PART 2: A 5 Minute Action Challenge (where we set a challenge, give our listeners 5 minutes of silence and get them to pick up their pens).


If you’re interested on being a guest, please answer the questions below in your application. These are the actual questions for the podcast itself!  (which means not only will your answers help me decide if we’re a good match, but also it means zero preparation time for either of us … just show up on skype for the interview, and we’re good to go!)


PART 1: Quickfire questions

Rather than a long rambly introduction, this is where the listeners will get to know you … fast! I ask questions using the Who, What, How, Why, When, Where formula:

  1. a) Who do you help? (Who is your target market?)
  2. b) What pain points do they come to you for?
  3. c) How do you help them?
  4. d) Why do you love what you do?
  5. e) When can people next get help from you? (Is there a launch coming up, or do you have an ‘evergreen’ offer)
  6. f) Where do we find you online? (URL of website please)


PART 2: The 5 Minute Action Challenge

This is where we give instructions, then mute ourselves for 5 minutes while the listeners take action.

  1. a) What’s one small action-oriented challenge question / exercise / activity that the listeners can take? Something that’s on-brand for you, and that’s of value to them?

    It could be a brainstorming session, or a “look at your website with fresh eyes” session, or a free writing session, or a quick research online session.

Example 1: A previous guest set a 5 Minute Action Challenge: “How to Get More Sales”

Example 2:  Another guest set a 5 Minute Action Challenge: “How to Identify Your Spending Triggers When You’re Feeling Stressed”

  1. b) What is an exercise you can give the listeners? Perhaps an exercise from a course/ eBook/ coaching session that can be modified? Strictly 5 minutes only, so it needs to be laser-focused!

Example 1: Brainstorm 20 people you could reach out to to have sales conversations with

Example 2: Write down your money worries, circle stressful events, and identify what you typically want to buy when you feel stressed (eg when I feel anxious about my relationship, I buy a new pair of shoes)

FYI the target audience consists of women (and some men) in their 20s-40s who are small business owners (especially solopreneurs) and/or online course participants (who spend a lot of time chained to their laptops). They want to be the best version of themselves, and are open to getting the help they need.
